FOBCL Umbrella Board Members
The Umbrella Chapter brings together the leaders of the local Friends Chapters from each of the Branch Library, Regional Library, and Section within the Libraries Division. These Friend leaders work to:
Friends Chapters advocate for and financially support their local
libraries. They work to:
- Sustain government support for libraries by keeping in contact with government and elected officials
- Increase local interest in library services
- Raise funds to supplement what cannot be provided by Broward County Libraries annual budget.
